A Little Seasonal Fun at Rockport!!

The staff enjoyed dressing up for their residents Halloween Party! The residents are excited to see the Holiday Season rolling in. There is always so much to do like painting the pumpkins, making ornaments for the Christmas trees, looking forward to all the entertainment that is booked. Families and friends are all welcome to join in anything we have on our calendar. So view our calendar and call us at 440-356-5444 when you would like to come in for something going on. WHAT'S MISSING IN THIS PHOTO?

THE BONFIRE!!!!! About 30 residents at Rockport sat around the bonfire for the first time this fall. They enjoyed singing, hot chocolate and of course the infamous s'mores. Even without a bonfire, though, the atmosphere at Rockport is always "warm" and friendly. Call today to receive our monthly mailer. HARD WORK IS PAYING OFF

Caroline and Betty are just a couple of the residents who helped plant the garden this year in Rockport's beautiful courtyard. And today - the first tomato was picked to eat. It was perfect!!! Juicy and ripe but just too small to split up amongst all our gardeners so I ate it myself!! :) Soon it will be fall and we will have our bonfires in the courtyard. Happy 4th of July from Rockport

We all sang "God Bless America" as we enjoyed a good ole' American meal....hot dogs and burgers!! The live music definitely helped our voices come together and the time flew by. If you haven't been in lately for lunch call us today at 440-356-5444. After lunch you can join in our activities or enjoy time in our courtyard that is truly a "bird sanctuary"! It is so peaceful. Happy Father's Day from Rockport!

Out of 109 residents at Rockport we are happy to celebrate with the 47 of them that are men!! We had a great time with music, awesome food and a lot of laughter. All in celebration of Fathers' Day. Though at Rockport we are spoiled to have a wonderful banquet room that allows us to just celebrate "life" with good friends any ole' time we want. Being over 90 can be a GIFT!!!

...when shared with friends at Rockport. Here is Penny Kelly our administrator with Kate Kerbusch at the "over 90" luncheon held at the Rocky River Senior Center. Our bus took many of our residents over to share in the celebration of life. And that is what life is all about at Rockport - celebrating, sharing, learning and relaxing. Don't pass by an opportunity to enjoy life by attending one of our many activities. Ah......music soothes the soul.
Many Rockport residents sit, relax and take in the beautiful music performed by a young canadian orchestra called the Milton DHS School Voyageurs. After the show the residents enjoyed talking to the artists and thanked them for such a beautiful start to their morning.

"Striking" up some more fun at Rockport!

Noreen was hoping for a strike; the question now is...did she spare it up??? Though we have a WII bowling league many of our residents still enjoy tabletop bowling. Often times our sister community Harbor Court will come down to challenge us. Either way, it is always fun and we welcome guests!!! Always remember to look at our calendar and come in for some fun. There is always a lot going on at Rockport. If you want to tour, play games, enjoy music or simply stop in for lunch, call 440-356-5444.

LIFE IS GOOD!

Irene wants to know; "Is this REALLY March 12th? "Life is good" is her comment as she sits on the patio at Rockport soaking up the afternoon rays on this beautiful Friday afternoon. Other residents are picking out the location for this years garden and our chef knows it will soon be time to clean the "barbie". Don't forget to check out our activities calendar and when you see something you would enjoy doing just STOP IN!! We love people sharing in our fun!

Away "WII" Go!!

The residents are intent on learning new techniques with their wii bowling. WHY? Because now we have a wii bowling league every other Wednesday evening. Our residents love to be active and love to help others do the same. So whether it is playing cards, shooting pool, singing in the choir, playing wii or watching all of the above, Rockport is the place for you!! Come in and enjoy one of our activities anytime.
